The village residents in Kande, Malawi (pop. 35,000+)
have been dancing and singing throughout their dusty streets. Across
Borders recently built a maize mill in an otherwise impoverished
region. Many villagers, some small scale farmers, walk over 10 miles
to get to the mill. They’re thrilled that they no longer have to
hand pound their maize anymore. Proceeds from the mill will fund
feeding projects, care for widows, start other businesses, etc. This
